"Because my dad loved the water, every morning from the time we could, we walked to Bondi Baths. We didn't have a car. Every morning from about age seven, get up in the morning, even if I didn't want to go, he'd pull the blanket off the bed, get up, and we'd walk down to the baths. It was a regular thing, everybody went early morning swimming. There weren't many young people, it's mainly older people, but everybody knew everybody by first name terms."
